Starved Rock Proposal

Shooting a proposal is SO MUCH FUN but I get so stressed!! Blake and I had been planning this picturesque waterfall proposal for weeks and then literally two minutes before we were leaving the house, I saw on facebook that Matthiessen trails were closed due to flooding! OMG. So I texted him to sneak away from her and call me. We made a new plan and then headed out. Our secret is that we take our kids with us. No one suspects the family taking pictures of their kids so they don't even notice us. :) We hid out and our kids kept telling everyone that their friends were getting married on the bridge! But it went off smashingly and she said yes!

You gotta take a picture holding up the ring!! After that we usually take off and let you drink champaign and call your family. But since they were staying in town for a week, we asked if they wanted to sneak out to a waterfall later and take a few more pictures! Thankfully they let us bring our kids in tow and we had a great little hike through the mud and got some waterfall pictures after all! 

We (and our kiddos) had so much fun and we are so excited for Blake & Crystal! They are such a beautiful couple and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
