Newborn Packages
in-home Lifestyle newborn session - $500
I, Mary, shoot in home lifestyle newborn sessions. That means that I will come to you within a couple weeks of baby being born and do a session with the parents holding the baby and some of the baby alone and the baby with older siblings. Typically I will have you holding the baby or wrap the baby up in a blanket. I like to schedule the sessions in the nursery or in an area of the home with good natural light (near a window). I do these session in the morning or early afternoon while both parents are home. Typically the session will give you about 150 images of that squishy newborn phase with lots of different combinations! I serve Chicago and Chicago suburbs as well as Central Illinois and the Starved Rock area for newborn photos.
Sunroom session - $500
If you don’t have a nursery set up or you are in between homes or whatever life handed to ya with this precious new addition, that’s ok. I have a sunroom with lots of light and we can do the session there. You can come to my home in Ottawa and we can do a lifestyle session here. I will have some blankets and baskets and we can do some holding the baby and some of the baby alone still. If you want to bring any textiles or props to incorporate, that’s fine with me, just let me know!
Mini maternity session - (included)
I include a mini maternity session with my newborn package. It’s a 15 minute session done outside or in my sunroom around 32-35 weeks. It is usually some of just mom, some of the parents, and a few with older siblings. If you don’t want a maternity session, I will swap it out for a sitter session at 7 months. A “sitter session” is just the baby and is done when they are able to sit on their own around 6-7 months. I can do this session outside or in home or in the sunroom if needed. It is a mini session as well.
Session fee is due at the first session in full. You do not need to reserve a spot or pay a deposit. Shoot me a line to schedule maternity pictures as soon as you have your schedule for the 2 months before the due date. I do like to have heads up about your due date, but I usually just tell everyone to text me when the baby is here and we will schedule a time for the session within two weeks of being home from the hospital.
