We took some engagement pictures for David & Kourtney, which was really fun. We went to the Farm Park in East Peoria, which suited this couple so well. I really liked this session. And Seth and I have only done a few engagement pictures so we are still learning but we had a lot of fun.

To see more of Kourtney and David, check the page with their names in the side column. Can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Travis married my good friend, Rachel. We were lucky enough to shoot their special day.

I am trying something new here with our recent weddings, so if you click on their names in the side column, it will (hopefully) open a separate page with a few more pictures of their special day.

I am still figuring out this blog thing so bare with me!

Every wedding has a unique reflection of the couple, and those little touches are so neat. I love noticing all the work and thought that the couple put into their day. Here are a few from our weddings….

    Brandon & Joylynn

Upon entering the church there were beautiful frames and flowers set up on tables around the room.

Brandon & Joylynn’s wedding was so unique. Everything displayed their artistic style. The bridesmaids all wore a shade of green and carried these green laterns with a candle lit inside.

In front of the altar, they set up a beautiful display of candles. It was quite romantic.

They had all kinds of different cakes and desserts with all different decorations and colors.

    Chris & Emily

As the guest entered the reception, there was a table with a guest book and cards for everyone to get the newlyweds advice. My advice was, “No tv in the bedroom and only yell when the house is on fire.” That was advice given to us on our wedding.

Emily’s cake stand was GORGEOUS! She used flowers in candle holders to hold up a glass platter for the cake. It was so clever and bright. Great idea!

Emily & Chris picked out their favorite pictures and had them enlarged and put in black & white and displayed them in the hallway of the reception hall. It was a great personal touch.

Here is a picture of the head table. Behind the table was tool curtains, I think from IKEA, with christmas lights behind. It really created a romantic setting

This beautiful table displayed a statue with a framed explanation. Of course, adorned with flowers, it really made the entrance unique.

Hey everyone, I haven’t been great with updating this for a couple reasons. We have had so many weddings/shoots this summer that we have been in a craze getting pictures out. And I am not quite sure how to work this blog! I am still learning.

But I have a ton of recent photos that are so cool and I can’t wait to get up. I will try to get to that this week! Hang in there if you are waiting for your pics to post…they’re coming!
